Hello Piranhas Family,

Next Thursday, May 26 is the last day of school for APS and typically a busy day for the Glenwood Park Pool. The pool board has asked us to switch practice to Wednesday, May 25 to accommodate an expected crowd of happy summer vacationers on Thursday.

Therefore, practice is moved to Wednesday, May 25. All times will be the same as usual.

Practice NEXT week:

Tuesday and Wednesday; Saturday and Sunday

All times are the same.

Practice STARTING June 1:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

All times are the same.

There is no practice May 30 (Memorial Day).

Next Tuesday, May 24, at 5:50 PM, I will do a Swim Meet 101 chat for new parents. This will be after practice for the 5-10s and at the start of practice for the 11 and ups. I'll review some details that will help you understand the structure of a swim meet and show you how to help your swimmer get oriented (including marking up swimmers to help them understand when, where, and what they will be swimming). This will take place in the corner of the pool with the round couch. (If you're an experienced parent who knows this stuff, will you volunteer to monitor the door?)
