Hello Piranha Parents,

We are preparing for a great 2023 season ahead!

Mark your calendars for the following events:

Team suit fittings: April 18 or 20, 5:30-6:30 PM at the pool. Bring your swimmer(s) at any time during these windows to try on a sample suit and get swim suit ordering forms. Please come to the fittings to ensure you get the right size for your child! Competitive swimwear is sized differently than regular clothing and fittings are really important to make sure your children have comfortable suits that work correctly!

Team suit ordering deadline: April 25

The team suits are black with the Piranhas logo. They help generate a sense of team unity at meets and help us identify our swimmers! If you have a suit from a previous season you'd like to offer to another family, please let me know.

Gear requirements: Swimsuits and goggles for practices and meets. Practice caps for long hair are highly, highly recommended. I'll send more details about how to help your young swimmers put them on soon. I will order team caps, and they are included in your registration fee. They will be printed with the Piranha logo and your child's last name.

First Practice: May 8

Practice Times

There are four options per week. Swimmers should plan to come at least 1x per week. The more they swim, the more they will improve!

Please note: We are considering adding a 4:30-5:00 PM practice for our youngest and newest swimmers (age 5-7 only). 

5-6 year olds: 5-5:30 PM, M-W-Th; Sat. 9:30-10 AM

7-10 year olds: 5-5:45 PM, M-W-Th; Sat. 9:15-10 AM

11 and up: 5:45-6:45 PM, M-W-Th; Sat. 8:30-9:30 AM

Age-up date: May 31. This means that if your child has a birthday June 1 or later, they will still swim in the age group they were in on May 31.
