Despite the yucky weather today, practice went on. I posted this message to the Facebook group earlier. Apologies that I did not have access to this platform to email at the same time.

What do we do if it rains? 

Light rain, no sparks: We practice! 

Thunder and/or lightning: Everyone out of the water for 30 minutes. The clock restarts with additional thunders/lightning. If our coaches have to call practice off, they will do so and we’ll send a FB post and email immediately. 

Keep in mind that it could be raining in one part of Atlanta and dry elsewhere. Always check this page or email to see what we've posted.

We have three routes for communication for Piranhas news, and for weather concerns from here on, I will use all three.They are:

- Email

- The Glenwood Park Piranhas Facebook group

-Alerts

For Alerts, you will need the following: 1) Download the Swimtopia app; 2) Log in to your Swimtopia account; 3) turn on notifications for the app on your phone. I will send a test alert later this evening.

I strongly recommend the Swimtopia app! It's very handy for meets as well as communication.
