Hi everyone,

Signups for meets 2 through 5 are now open! These will take place on Tuesdays, 6/6, 6/13, and 6/20 and Monday, 6/26.

If your swimmer will be participating in meets, you must declare them on Swimtopia.

How to sign up

• Log in to glenwoodparkpiranhas.swimtopia.com using your swimtopia user id and password (if you do not have these, set them up so you can access the swim meet sign up!)
• Go to the Meets and Events tab.
• Click Signup Calendar
• All the remaining dual meets (two team competitions) are now open.
• For each meet, click the green Meet Entry button.
• Your child will be “undeclared.” Click Edit. Choose “attending this meet” or “not attending this meet.” Click Save.
• Coach’s Notes: if you are going to arrive late or need to leave early, let Coach Nate know in the notes. That will help with scheduling the relays.

NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART-- THE VOLUNTEER CALL!

• IF YOUR SWIMMER IS participating, don’t close the app before you click that green Job Signup button and choose the job that works for you. See Meet 
• Upon arrival at the swim meet, you will check in with the Team Rep. The Team Rep will provide an overview of the volunteer duties and let you know where your station is located.

We can’t over-emphasize how necessary your participation is. Even if you’ve never done it before, you’ll learn fast!! (If you were at Meet 1, you saw the magic in action.)

Reminders

• Coach Nate will chooses swimmer’s races in collaboration with the assistant coaches and the swimmers. Each swimmer can be entered in up to two individual events and two relays. Not everyone will be entered in both relays for each meet, it just depends on how many swimmers enter. This why your notes about your time constraints will be very helpful.
• Meet registration closes on Saturday after practice. I’lll send a reminder when the deadline is getting close.
