Hello Piranha Parents,

First I am pasting a message we sent last week about suit fittings. They're coming up soon, starting Saturday April 13! Below that, you will see the meet schedule. Signups for swim meets are not ready yet, but they will be ready by about 1 week into the season (around May 13). 

First, the replay of our team suit message:

Hi GP Piranha Parents,

We are excited to get started with the 2024 swim season! One of the first orders of business is to get the swimsuit order in so that everyone can have their team suits that fit for our first meet! If you are new or need a refresher, the suits are ordered by parents online, and all suits are delivered to a team rep (me this year). They can then be picked up at practice.

In anticipation of your order, we will host two fitting sessions at the Glenwood Park Pool, so that your child can try on suits to check for fit.

SUIT FITTING SESSIONS:Session 1: Saturday, April 13th

10:30AM-12PM

Session 2: Monday, April 15th

5:30-7PM

**please make sure your children wear undergarments for trying on the suits.

To assure I can account for the suits ordered, and to help everyone get the suits they ordered, I ask that after you place your order, please email me with the subject line to include “GPP SUIT ORDER” and the body is to include one of the following:

(a) forward your online order to me (summary page or invoice) (b) send a screen shot of your confirmed suit order items (c) send me an email with the suits you ordered (least preferred)

This will be stapled on a bag with your suits when they come in.

We also will host a suit swap prior to the 1st fitting session (same day) with the goal of finding homes for gently used team suits ahead of time, so you then know if you need to order.

SUIT SWAP:

Saturday, April 13th

9:30-10:30AM

Please come with your gently used suit with the goal of finding a trade-in. After the swap we (the fitting team) can hold onto the suits during the fittings, for the possibility of it being sold at a used price we agree upon (no negations & you assume the risk of it being misplaced, damaged). I will work with Cash or Venmo for this opportunity only.
