* First meet is a week away

One week from tonight, we will be watching relays at our first swim meet against the Decatur Gators. This is a great team to start with. You can expect friendly competition and a well-run meet, which is great if it's your first one!

* Memorial Day Practice is on

Due to the holiday, we will run a modified practice. Special thanks to the GP Pool board for agreeing to this change!

9:00-10:00 AM ages 11 and up

10:00-10:45 AM 10 and under

* Team suits are here

If you ordered through the team store by May 1, Kate Leach has been leading the sorting process. Please pick up your suits and any other gear you ordered by Monday, May 27.

* Caps are coming

I placed a bulk order and the caps should be here by May 27. If we do not get the chance to distribute them before the first meet, I will give them to swimmers/parents at the meet. We'll distribute them at practices if you do not attend the meet. Note, caps are white with a green team logo and your child's last name on each side. For newcomers, the cap is something like the jersey in other sports- last name printed on it. This comes in handy at meets where people are making sure swimmers are lined up for their events.
